TASK
Design a new product that makes an improvement within the area of painting equipment and develop a functional prototype suited for field testing.
IDEA
Improve the traditional paint scraper through the addition of a strap, similar to that on a ski pole, the developed paint scraper gave better support, increased force and lessened the strain on the wrist.
The concept is applicable for scrapers in multiple price ranges. Two variants were developed, Silver and Gold, for a better- respectively best result.
RESULT
Voted best project among 30 others by task provider Alfort & Cronholm for its significant, yet simple contribution to the increased ergonomics in a very toilsome area of painting.
